Iran, jailed pro-democracy student activist Abdullah Moment
refused to leave despite serious health problems from worsening. An Iranian
graduate student at a university in the US, five months imprisoned in Tehran
for allegedly graphics conspiracy, for a chance to defend themselves in a fair

Moment, is now serving a nearly five-year sentence in Even prison in Tehran, Iran's biggest reformist student organization, the Office of the Union, or Dafter-e-Talkie-e-Vanda spokesman for consolidation. He is a prisoner of conscience by Amnesty International declared.

The arrest, however, and twice Moment’s health deteriorated, he was hospitalized in May with health complications.
According to his wife, Fatimah Adinehvand, Moment are denied because of the termination of an open letter to Ayatollah Kamenev, Iran's Supreme Leader addressed, and will be published in September 2010.
While the letter he had been subjected to physical and psychological abuse described the arrest. Iranian authorities did not respond to torture.
Moment serious back problems, heart disease and skin of a rule that has developed specialized treatment while in detention. Also, intestinal problems, and that his most recent hunger strike, the other 11 political prisoners of conscience in the last month to protest the deaths of two inmates suffered worse.

Moment was arrested on 20 June 2009, in the aftermath of the contested 2009 elections, free citizens, a group of political opponents in the headquarters of Midi Karrabul.
Forced confession and after a trial held behind closed doors, Moment was sentenced to six years in prison for an additional two years in prison in the post-election gatherings and activities against national security, charges dating from 2007, is taking part.
An appeal court reduced his sentence to four years and 11 months in prison.
