UK: Muslim Veil: why do not we acknowledge each other?

Burley Lancashire, England, a city boiling ethnic tension between Muslims and non-Muslims in 2001. But Burley College has exploded into violent riots, the veil or the UK 'items of clothing that cover the face of the' apparently has been banned for security reasons. Britain has prided itself, such as France or Belgium, in another European country, schools, colleges, or to be more tolerant than they have banned the veil in public buildings. So, what is to be a Muslim student Burley? Find out from MOHYUDDIN Human.

One of the reasons I went to London to study at the University of paranoid feeling uneasy feeling that the majority of the people around me and the people of Burley away. Burley I have lived all my life, and always felt racial segregation to be a big problem.

When I walked the halls of my school at the Sixth Form in Burney, this distinction is quite clear - Muslims and non-Muslims on one side of the room were filled. I asked myself: why are not we accepting each other?

Banning the veil of a Muslim woman is saying that wearing the veil is not allowed. Why not? Being themselves? To release Muslim women to dress modestly, would not oppress.

A Muslim girl myself, as though the so-called 'security' reasons for the ban outdated Burney College are an excuse, and I feel that forcing someone to take off the veil is discrimination.

Burney there are more people at least half Muslim. That is why, I think, a more considerate and Burney authorities to understand other religions and beliefs would be. I wonder why Muslims do not get to say what is happening, especially when it affects them directly.

Burney riots in 2001 after a young person quite confidently say that he disliked the Muslims, and that was the reason I found his parents were injured in the riots.

I remember when the riots broke out, they said it was one of the reasons that Muslims believe that the tensions were not getting the same rights as the rest of the population and the larger, better-paid jobs in the non-Muslims. Even now I do not believe that to be true, I think there are still tensions and a 'tactic' to separate the rights of Muslims and non-Muslims, are being used as a ban on the veil.

I was 11 years old when I first started wearing a scarf and maybe too young to realize that the whole reason why I was wearing. It was all I knew was that I wanted to be. As I got older, of course, the more I understood. But trying to explain this to my non-Muslim friends was hard. They do not understand the desire and were not eager to accept.

I remember one time in high school, a couple of my non-Muslim friends asked me to take off my head scarf. When I asked why, they had no valid reason. "The better to see you showing your hair," they say, or: "Other Muslims do so, why do you want to be?" Or: "Your sister does not, so why do not you?"

A Muslim girl who is forced to take off her veil to be changing. Excuse after excuse as to why a woman should not wear the veil, I feel as though you are creating. If your friend decides to wear the veil tomorrow, you would not think any less of him? It was the same person, he is always, always you know.

Imperial College London is a system where Muslim women to show their face at the door for security reasons, but then again covered her face when you are allowed to cross the door.

This system would be more considerate of women's safety, and then, as a Muslim woman would not feel uncomfortable there, but I think it's something that Burney College, should be considered. Especially, their policies force Muslim women to leave the university.

As a Muslim, I believe that nothing is more important than anything else overpowers belief and religion. Pushing for a ban on the veil of Muslim women to choose between their beliefs and their education. Where are their rights?

I had always heard that the culture of London and more accepting of who you are and where you came. I want to do this no longer consider me as the University of London, to be pushed to the other side of the room.

I feel a lot more comfortable in London, maybe because I do not have a label I have Burney. No problem for me to be myself. Should not be labeled, is a liberating feeling of individuality. Therefore, no paranoia.

My friend now other nationalities, all races and all religions. I do not feel compelled to not only help the Muslims. My first year at the University of London's experience with all types of people, I think my confidence has grown.

Bartlett School of Architecture, we are encouraging all of our understanding and open to other cultures and people. We embrace and share our skills and knowledge.

I feel accepted.

Muslim women from wearing the burke 'part of everyday life' in Britain. Baroness Wars to the right of Muslim women 'choose' to wear the burke defended.

Many Muslim women choose to wear the veil of their own volition, he suggested. "Why should we tell women what to wear? What it boils down to choice. Women do not have a choice when it comes to what to wear than they are oppressed.

"But when a woman has a choice, and she chooses to wear whatever, then wear the oppressed did not she? She's choosing to do what he chooses."

Sharp criticism of the burke alienates Muslim women from the rest of society. But Conservative Party chairman Baroness Wars said the burke was not in itself act as a barrier. He added: "There are women who wear the burke who run highly successful businesses - internet businesses, which you really do not have to be face to face, I do not think it's a situation we can not say. Attrition., Who supports any woman in the burke One has to move. "

There are social and economic pressure on Muslim women to cover themselves with the hirable or neap. Wars is a member of the Tory Cabinet because he covered his head. Muslim women are not alone in the position of responsibility that they have to cover themselves. Only those Muslim women who do not cover themselves receive state honors. Banning the veil or blocking the building of minarets would alienate the Muslim community and threaten social cohesion.

Some young Muslim feminists consider the hirable and neap political symbols, such as binge drinking, casual sex and drugs as a way of rejecting Western excesses. What is more liberating: being judged on the length of your skirt and the size of your breasts, or your character and intelligence?

Carefully read the Qur'an just like to show that Western feminists fought for in the 1970s was available to Muslim women 1,400 years ago, who spirituality, education and worth the same as men. When Islam offers women so much, why are Western men are obsessed with Muslim women's clothing?

Even former government ministers Gordon Brown and John Reid have made disparaging remarks about the neap, and hail from Scotland, where the men wear skirts.

"Common sense" not to wear the neap social relations "more difficult" because they want to? Nonsense. If this were the case, why are cell phones, e-mail, text messaging and fax machines in daily use?

For those who are not covered by the body to reduce mental or physical and mental abilities of running a home, raising children, to a degree, money, or other fellow humans informed members of society regardless of social interaction. The neap is not inferior.

Why are people reluctant to join us so willingly and openly with other Muslim women do not cover their face like that? We do not bite or any different. It is more afraid of 'terrorism' desire that we have to continue because we are closer to our religion? On the contrary, people who closely follow their religion, any religion, any obligation to realize that they are under more under all circumstances to defend the sanctity of their faith and no religion teaches violence.

Cover their face neap and women who look like they are normal as anyone else. If we are the victims, the fact that the mass propaganda and still, and the rest of the world caused by this breach of trust against Muslim women who are victims of false advertising.

We are very normal, very human person .... we are as intelligent and a real beauty is in the mind and inner strength. Wearing the hirable or neap, a Muslim woman trying to project their opinions and ideas confidently secretly or publicly criticize their body without pressure.

Today, our society encourages women to show off their bodies and their brains did not show up. Models are often overweight, and the media tells us is that the way women should look like !! don’t make me laugh !!!!
